We have been informed that all emails send from January 1st 2010 had been subjected to an incorrect spam configuration bug which was introduced by the company that writes the software and as such were much more likely to be treated as spam.

The problem was quickly identified and an updated configuration was applied at 21:00 on the 1st that rectified the issue.

Please notify support of any further issues with email.

The trial of the new spam configuration has been successful and has been fully applied across all accounts.

Any issues with email should be reported to support.

We are currently trailing a new style global spam database, the new system will mean that users do not store large spam rules files in their user accounts which will help with their disk space allocations. There may be some temporary change in the number of spam messages you receive.

The increased number of spam messages has been resolved.

We have noticed that a larger than normal number of spam emails are passing our mail server, we are currently investigating this issue.

We have now completed the system update.

PHP 5.2.11


Any issues should be reported to support.

There will be a short period of scheduled maintenance on Sunday the 1st November at 12:00 am to allow up to update several items on our primary system, we expect this to take no longer than 30 min’s.

The support site should be unaffected.

We have updated our spam filters to be more aggressive to lower the amount of spam customers receive, If you have any reports of legitimate emails being rejected please contact support.

All sites that can be restored have been, we will continue to work with those customers with data loss on an individual basis.
We are also now conduction a review of our systems and the circumstances of the outage and will report the finding when complete.

We estimate the 60% of website are now repaired, several of them we are having to recreate from partial backups which mean that there may be some data loss. We will be contacting customers as we finish work on their sites.
